Elle King unleashed a sassy cheating anthem to kick off the weekend, dropping it as fans eagerly await her soon-to-release album, Come Get Your Wife. “Tulsa” debuted on Friday (January 6).
“He went back to Tulsa/ Put some miles on that adios Tacoma/ And I ain't talkin' Oklahoma/ ‘Cause it ain't what you think/ But if you spell it back to front you gonna know what I mean”
“Tulsa” is the latest track King has shared from her forthcoming 12-track project, which also includes previously-released fan-favorites “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert and “Worth A Shot” featuring Dierks Bentley, among others. King previously explained that her album got its name because she was winning a game of pool when, “this person shouts — not at me, but over me — to my partner, ‘come get your wife!’ …And I’m not even married! Lol. Thanks for the album title, babe.”
