Elle King is signaling a “new era” with her latest, sassy country anthem. The powerhouse singer released “Out Yonder: on Friday (March 18), announcing on Instagram that she “can’t wait for you guys to let me know what you think. Here’s to a new era, with a whole lot of new music headed your way.” King sings on the new track:

“It's all this/ He said, she said/ Always two sides and the truth/ There's so much s*** around these parts/ Gonna get some on your boots/ It's just a straight line down the grapevine/ Gotta rip it right up at the roots/ You can keep your mouth runnin’/ Hell Jesus might love ya’/ But that don't mean I do/ So take your front page, two faced, petty a** drama/ Leave it out, leave it out, leave it out yonder.”

King recently performed at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, including a performance of an unreleased song with Dierks Bentley, “Worth A Shot.” King included shoutouts to other artists — Miranda LambertAshley McBryde and Fancy Hagood — when she posted about the show on Instagram: “There is a magic to this true church of music. I am proud to say that it was my show, but it felt like all of ours… This was more than just a show. It was a celebration of music, friendship, love, being together again.”
