Kelsea Ballerini is paying tribute to the little things in life with her third song to release from her highly-anticipated fourth studio album, which is set to debut next month. Ballerini announced that she'll share “the little things” on Friday (August 5).
Ballerini started teasing the upcoming release on her social media channels on Tuesday (August 2), posing the question to fans: “wait should i release a new song friday?!” On TikTok, the award-winning singer-songwriter revealed a snippet of the song as she danced and mouthed along with the lyrics. Commenters loved the ‘90s country-inspired teaser, even comparing it to icons Trisha Yearwood and Shania Twain.
The latest track follows “HEARTFIRST” and “Love Is A Cowboy,” which are also included on Ballerini’s forthcoming project, Subject to Change. She teased the title of the song with a series of photos on Instagram, captioning “it’s the little things “ as she shared a behind-the-scenes shot of the “HEARTFIRST” music video, a clip of her dog (Dibs) eyeing a bunny in the yard, footage of a crowd singing every word to “Love Is A Cowboy” and more.
Ballerini’s long-awaited album is set to release on September 23, which she’ll immediately follow with a 10-city tour. See “the little things” here:
