Nicole Combs caught up with her social media followers on Tuesday (July 19), fielding a few questions from them on her Instagram story.

Nicole and her husband, country superstar Luke Combs, welcomed their first child last month. Tex Lawrence Combs made his arrival on Father’s Day (June 19), and since then, the family of three has shared adorable photos as they soak in precious moments together.

Luckily, Nicole shared on Instagram on Tuesday that “for the most part,” Tex is a good sleeper. In fact, “I usually have to wake him up,” she said, adding that she’s “very thankful haha.”

Nicole, who laughed when she remembered that she was “eating pizza” when she went into labor, applauded the “incredible” nurses, doctors and staff at the hospital where she delivered. “So many (and I really mean so many)” social media users have reached out to ask about Nicole’s recovery and mental health after having her baby. “I can’t thank you enough,” Nicole gushed. “You truly are the best people around. Thankfully I’ve been doing great physically & mentally.”

Nicole also encouraged others who asked questions about getting started with new health and fitness goals, shared the recipe to the salad she ate for lunch, and dished about how the cats are adjusting to the new addition of the family (they aren’t sleeping in his stroller anymore, but will “find another thing to nap in” before it’s cat-proofed). Nicole has previously interacted with fans via her Instagram stories, including sharing sweet details about the growing family. that “Tex” is Luke’s great uncle’s name, and “Lawrence” is her father’s name. During her pregnancy, Nicole shared that she and Luke picked “a family name but also pretty unique I think.”

Days after welcoming Tex, Luke released his highly-anticipated album, Growin’ Up. He said when he released the 12-track project: “I’ve got a beautiful, healthy baby boy, an amazing wife, a good dog, good friends, good family, and the best fans. I’m having a whiskey by myself to celebrate and process it all. Life is good. Cheers!”

The album is packed with tons of fan-favorites (“Doin’ This,” “The Kind of Love We Make,” “Tomorrow Me” and others), so Nicole said it was a “tough” question when someone asked about her favorite song from the album. Still, if she had to choose, Nicole opted for “Going, Going, Gone,” though she later told fans to “please go spam him” to ask why another favorite song, “5 Leaf Clover,” wasn’t on the track list.
