Luke Combs will release one more single before unveiling his highly-anticipated new album. The country giant posted a new photo on his social media channels, depicting a fictional newspaper called The Daily Bootlegger, seemingly burnt along the edges. Combs captioned on Instagram: “Excited to share the music video poster for my next single on Country Radio - ‘The Kind of Love We Make!’ The music video and song will release THIS Friday, June 17!!”
The announcement comes shortly after Combs teased the upcoming music video on TikTok. He showed a few scenes from the music video shoot at a fire station, hinting that he’s “been working on a little something for y’all! Be out when ‘The Kind of Love We Make’ comes out next Friday!” The dominant photo on the front page of The Daily Bootlegger appears to be from the music video shoot — and fans can’t wait to see the finished project.
“The Kind of Love We Make” is one of 12 tracks that will appear on Combs’ upcoming collection, Growin’ Up:
- Doin’ This
- Any Given Friday Night
- The Kind Of Love We Make
- On The Other Line
- Outrunnin’ Your Memory (with Miranda Lambert)
- Used To Wish I Was
- Better Back When
- Tomorrow Me
- Ain’t Far From It
- Call Me
- Middle Of Somewhere
- Going, Going, Gone
Combs’ album comes as he and his wife, Nicole, are expecting to welcome their firstborn child. The expectant parents announced earlier this year that “Lil dude Combs” was on the way. Combs has said that they’re both excited for parenthood, and though Nicole has acknowledged that she’s “SO unbelievably thankful to be pregnant,” she’s “more than ready” to welcome her son.
