Morgan Wallen compared his latest Nashville concert to “the World Series” when he took the stage at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (March 16). It marked Night 1 of 3 of Wallen’s “Dangerous Tour” stop in Music City, with the East Tennessean performing some of his biggest hits in the 26-song setlist.

“I really appreciate you being here tonight,” Wallen told the crowd. “I got a lot of people I care about here, a lot of people who believed in me for a long time are in the building tonight… this is really special to me.”

Wallen included his most recent hit, “Sand In My Boots,” along with “Up Down,” “Silverado for Sale,” “7 Summers” and others. Before launching into a rendition of “Chasin’ You,” Wallen said it “feels like the World Series to me tonight.”

The country singer — who won Album of the Year for Dangerous: The Double Album at the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas earlier this month — also included some star-studded surprises in his show. Wallen and ERNEST performed “Flower Shops” together, and opener Larry Fleet returned to the stage to perform “Where I Find God.” Brooks & Dunn icon Ronnie Dunn, who recently released his own heartbreak anthem “Broken Neon Hearts,” also joined Wallen during “Talkin’ Tennessee.” HARDY returned on “He Went To Jared,” Jimmie Allen was the final surprise guest of the night, according to a press release summing up the show. Wallen closed the concert with an encore of one of his biggest songs, “Whiskey Glasses.”
