Morgan Wallen kicked off his 2022 tour at Madison Square Garden with a crowd of more than 13,000 on Wednesday night (February 9). The show marks the start of Wallenâs 54-city âDangerous Tour.â
Wallenâs first tour stop also included surprise guests: ERNEST (performing âFlower Shopsâ), HARDY (performing âHe Went To Jaredâ) and Lindsay Ell (performing âOne Beerâ). Wallen also included hits from both of his albums in his 23-song set list, including tracks from If I Know Me, which released in 2018, and the 33-track Dangerous: The Double Album, which released last year. He capped the night with âWasted On Youâ and âWhiskey Glasses,â saying to the audience: âI never thought Iâd be doing this. You all are incredible.â
Though the âDangerous Tourâ was initially set to start in Indiana, Wallen explained âthe good Lord had other plans,â so the first stop switched to New York. The country artist shared on social media last week that âsevere and inclement weatherâ prompted him to reschedule a few shows, including the Evansville stop. Wallen assured fans that tickets would still be valid for the new dates (April 14 in Evansville, Indiana; April 15 in Charleston, West Virginia; and May 27 in Allentown, Pennsylvania), and refunds will be available for anyone unable to attend.
