Elle King shared a sweet memory from her son’s first birthday as she gave her social media followers a brief snippet of “Lucky,” a soon-to-release track titled with her son’s first name.
King’s forthcoming 12-track project, Come Get Your Wife, is nearing its January 27 release date. So far, she’s shared a few of the tracks on her album, including “Tulsa,” “Try Jesus,” and two all-star collaborations: “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert, and “Worth A Shot,” featuring Dierks Bentley.
Now, the powerhouse artist is “getting excited for my album to drop, so I’m sharing some sneak peeks of the new music… here’s one of my favorites, #Lucky ❤️,” King wrote as she shared the sneak peek with an adorable video. The throwback clip captures Lucky Levi Tooker, who was born in September 2021, wearing a birthday crown reading “one,” with his hands and face covered in white frosting from his birthday cake (with a little help from his mom, of course!). instagram users gushed that they could hardly believe Lucky Levi is already 1, and loved the “precious” first birthday celebration.

King previously explained that Come Get Your Wife is a country album that’s influenced by many genres of music: “Now, I understand that I have all of these influences and all of these things to make me this type of performer and songwriter, and now a producer. But all I can say is that this is what it is to me. This is what country is to me. And this is what makes me feel a certain way.”
