Tyler Hubbard posted a snippet of an unreleased song on his social media channels on Monday afternoon (May 9), and he hinted that fans might get to listen to the full version sooner rather than later. “I can’t wait to show y’all what I’ve been working on,” Hubbard captioned the post on Instagram. “New music coming soon. Who’s ready?”
Naturally, Hubbard’s fans dropped comments anticipating the upcoming release of new music from the Florida Georgia Line singer. “YESSSS can’t wait. ❤️❤️❤️,” “I can’t freaking wait 😍” and “Me!! 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️sooo excited for you! @tylerhubbard,” to name a few. Listen to the brief teaser of the unreleased song here:
Hubbard’s debut of new music comes a few months after he and Florida Georgia Line partner Brian Kelley announced they were “taking a break” from the iconic duo. In February, while Hubbard and Kelley celebrated their new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, they commented to PEOPLE on the future of Florida Georgia Line, clarifying that they weren’t splitting for good: “I think 'taking a break' is the proper term, as opposed to breaking up.” Hubbard said, adding later that, “we're sort of using these last 12 shows as a time to celebrate FGL, celebrate the fans, celebrate each other, and then support each other on the next chapter of our musical and creative journey, which is gonna be individually for a while. So we're excited.”
