Florida Georgia Line officially marked the opening of their new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, chronicling the duo’s childhood beginnings and their rise to stardom.
Florida Georgia Line: Mix It Up Strong debuted on Sunday (February 6). It’s packed with tons of iconic items and nostalgic mementos, including awards, wardrobe selections, instruments, personal artifacts and more. The exhibition delves into Florida Georgia Line’s success in the music industry, particularly with genre-bending project. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley skyrocketed with “Cruise,” in 2012, which got a remixed collaboration with Nelly. The “record-breaking” hit was just the beginning for Florida Georgia Line, going on to blend “hip-hop cadences, small-town themes and country instrumental flourishes.”
Hubbard and Kelley performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which also hosted a conversation with the duo in the CMA Theater. Florida Georgia Line spoke about their career and their memories of the artifacts in the new exhibit. The museum will premiere the conversation as part of its Live at the Hall series on March 1. It will stream on the museum’s YouTube channel, Facebook page and website. Visitors can see the new Florida Georgia Line: Mix It Up Strong exhibition now through January 1, 2023.

“Florida Georgia Line expanded the country music audience and created some of the most popular recordings in the genre’s history by embracing hip-hop and rock influences,” said museum CEO Kyle Young. “In less than a decade, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have had twenty-five singles reach gold, platinum or multi-platinum status, with two of those singles – ‘Cruise’ and ‘Meant to Be’ [released with Bebe Rexha in 2017] – reaching the elite plateau of diamond sales certification. Very few artists in any genre accomplish that feat even once. The museum looks forward to exploring the duo’s distinctive music and career in this special exhibit.”
Florida Georgia Line celebrated the exhibit opening, saying on Instagram: “It’s been such an honor seeing our story go up behind glass, and we can’t wait for y’all to see it!”
