Thomas Rhett is gearing up for everyone to hear his “favorite Cole Swindell song of all time” after his former tour mate revealed on social media that he’s getting ready to debut a new song. Swindell took to Instagram to share that, even though his next album is set to release soon, he “could not keep this song any longer.” That’s why the title track, “Stereotype,” is coming to fans on Thursday (March 31).
Swindell played a snippet of the song, and fans were already eager to hear the whole thing. Fellow country artists also dropped comments, including Rhett, who deemed the upcoming release “my favorite Cole Swindell song of all time.” Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard wrote, “I love this one buddy,” and HARDY, who collaborated with Swindell on the track that inspired the name of his tour, dropped several fire emojis in the comments. Swindell announced in February that his fourth studio album was on the way. Stereotype is set to release on April 8. The “Single Saturday Night” singer shared another post Wednesday (March 30), a sweet photo with his girlfriend, captioned: “’That’s my little rock ‘n’ roll right there.. She’s the oh no, there she goes, turning up my stereo..type’ #STEREOTYPE 3.31”
