Tyler Hubbard opened up about “the real story behind Florida Georgia Line's breakup.”

The Georgia-born singer-songwriter, who kickstarted his career as an artist with FGL duo partner Brian Kelley, joined Miles Adcox on a new episode of Human School. The podcast that aims to help others with “stories, tools, and raw conversations,” per the show’s description. The episode featuring Hubbard includes a conversation about losing his father in a tragic accident, “and the real story behind Florida Georgia Line's breakup. A story that is not the political narrative the internet created, but the human one about boundaries, business decisions, and two friends navigating an impossible season during a pandemic. Tyler also shares stories about why he played the inauguration, how he met his wife, Haley, and knew she was the one, and why he's finally ready to let people see the man behind the brand.”

Hubbard recently reunited with Kelley at the 59th CMA Awards. The show returned last month to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Hubbard said when he shared photos on Instagram that it was a “great night seeing friends and my country music family. Always a good time at the CMAs!” The two Florida Georgia Line singers announced in February 2022 that they were “taking a break” as a duo. They’ve since released solo projects.
