Brett Young shared a sweet birthday tribute to his daughter, Presley Elizabeth Young, who turns 6 on Tuesday (October 21).

The “In Case You Didn’t Know” artist and his wife, Taylor Mills Young, welcomed their firstborn baby on October 21, 2019. Presley was born at 8 lbs., 2 oz., measuring 20.75 inches, when she arrived at 7:29 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee, per the couple’s announcement with PEOPLE.

“Sweet Presley Girl. Happy birthday, my angel,” Young wrote in a caption on Instagram on Tuesday. “To say it’s all going too fast would be the biggest understatement of my life. It has been the most incredible honor to be your daddy and watch you grow into such a sweet, smart, sensitive, funny, considerate and perfectly goofy little girl. The world is a better place with you in it and my world isn’t even fathomable without you. Your mom and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect little kiddo. Thank you for the indescribable joy that you being to our lives. We love you more than you will ever know. Happy 6th birthday, pretty girl. Now please slow down a little bit. We want you enjoy you like this as long as possible. Daddy love you forever and always. Happy birthday, baby girl!”

Young and his wife welcomed Presley Elizabeth in 2019, and her little sister, Rowan Marie Young, followed on July 21, 2021. Young said at that time that he “thought my heart was maxed out. I usually don’t like to be wrong…… I was wrong. And I can’t wait to thank you properly for the opportunity to be your daddy. I already love you so much and I can’t wait to watch you and your sister become best friends. FYI….. the women in your life are super heroes and you’re the luckiest lady alive. Presley has been begging for you. Be prepared for me to mess everything up and your mom and sister to always be there to fix it. I love you.”

“I had such a good relationship with my dad – the father/son thing, the sports thing – I always thought that I wanted boys. And I immediately changed my mind when we had Presley,” Young previously shared in a statement. “And then there was a lot of conversation about, we’ll just keep going until we at least have one of each. But when we had Rowan, it was just confirmation that I was supposed to be a girl dad. I’m in love with it. I don’t feel the need to have a son anymore. I just love the way my relationship is with both of my daughters. It’s different. I mean, it changes you a little bit, but in a lot of good ways. I think I love differently and more deeply than I ever did before, and not just with them, but it opened my capacity to love that way in general with everybody in my life.”
