Shay Mooney's Wife Hannah Shares Heartwarming First Photo Of Baby No. 4

Shay Mooney is a father of four!

The Dan + Shay artist and his wife of nearly a decade, Hannah Love Mooney, have welcomed Baby No. 4. Hannah announced son Aubrey Ellis Mooney’s arrival with a heartwarming photo on Instagram on Tuesday (January 21). She wrote in her caption: “Our brand new baby BOY is finally here! Aubrey Ellis Mooney. 7 lbs 9 ounces + perfectly healthy! Thank you Jesus for another miracle! 🥹”

On Monday (January 20), Hannah shared a photo of herself and her husband in the car on the way to the hospital. She wrote over the photo, “it’s baby day!” Hannah also shared a mirror selfie baring her baby bump for the final time, a photo of the “10,000 Hours” artist as “Dr. Mooney,” and a poll for Instagram users to make final guesses whether the Mooneys would welcome another baby boy or a baby girl.

The Mooneys shared a video of the whole family to announce Hannah’s pregnancy in late July. The proud parents set their post to “Million Little Miracles” by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music. The three oldest Mooney children joined their parents on the couch — aligning with the lyric in the song, “one, two, three, four, I can't even count 'em all” — as Hannah held up her positive pregnancy test. Aubrey Ellis joins big brothers Asher James, who turns 8 this month, Ames Alexander, turning 5 in February, and Abram Shay, turning 2 this month.

Though Hannah hinted at a gender reveal during a two-part episode of Get Real with Caroline Hobby, she and her husband ultimately opted to keep it a secret until Aubrey Ellis was born. The Mooneys hosted a Q&A on the final episode of Unexpected with Hannah Love of 2024. Hannah replied to a question from a listener: “Yes we do (know the gender of Baby No. 4), and I think we accidentally waited too long. Now it’s so — we’re just gonna keep it a surprise. We are horrible at surprises, collectively, as a family. So, we’re really close, and we might as well just let everyone be surprised with us at the end. …So, yes, we know. But we’re only weeks away.”
