Jana Kramer shared how her ex-husband, Mike Caussin, interacts with her baby, whom she shares with fiancé Allan Russell.
Kramer responded to a few questions on her Instagram story on Thursday (June 13), including one Instagram user who wanted to know whether Caussin has held Kramer’s baby, son Roman James Russell, yet. Kramer included laughing emojis as she admitted she gets that question often.
Caussin has held Roman, she confirmed in her response. “He has offered to babysit him a few times when I’ve been in a crunch but we aren’t quite there yet,” the Whine Down with Jana Kramer host said with a laugh. “But he is very sweet with him. Beautiful how life can twist and turn and be made whole again in new ways.”
Kramer tagged Caussin, who shared that response on his own Instagram story. He said Roman will “be saying ‘Uncle Mike’ in no time.”
Kramer welcomed Roman, Baby No. 3, in November 2023. She said at that time that she’s “blessed beyond measure for this little miracle.” Russell hailed his fiancée “an absolute warrior of a woman and incredible mum who I simply adore,” after she welcomed their son. Roman James joins big siblings Jolie, 8, and Jace, 5, Kramer’s two children she shares with Caussin. Kramer told an Instagram user who asked about life with three children that she feels “so blessed,” and feels as though the family has “gotten into a good rhythm and everyone is happy.” Jolie and Jace “love playing with Roman,” too. Kramer and Russell announced their engagement in May 2023 after about six months of dating. They’re set to get married this year.
