Adam Doleac spotlighted his then-pregnant wife, MacKinnon Doleac, in the music video for his romantic single, “Ain’t She,” which premiered on Wednesday morning (April 24).

The Jack Owens-directed visual captures the couple’s journey to becoming becoming first-time parents, with a sweet glimpse of the new family of three at the end. The Doleacs welcomed their firstborn child, son Jack Mackinnon Doleac, last month. Baby No. 1 arrived weighing 9 pounds, 6 ounces on March 23, the country singer-songwriter announced. He said at that time, in part, “we already love you more than we even knew we could.

“I’m so excited to debut the ‘Ain’t She’ music video. This song is all about finding your person in the least expected way and when you need it the most. I’m so grateful for all of the love my fans have shown this song so far, so this is for you!” Doleac said in a statement on Wednesday. “Thank you to Jack Owens for helping bring the creative vision behind this track to life, and to my wife Mackinnon and son Jack for starring in it!”

Doleac wrote “Ain’t She” with John Pierce and Paul DiGiovanni, calling it “not your average love story.” When asked about his inspiration during a previous interview with iHeartCountry, Doleac immediately replied, “my beautiful wife,” and remembered the day he met MacKinnon.

“My favorite kind of love story is a guy kind of can’t save himself from his own self, and he needs the girl to kind of come in and rescue him. I think as guys, we kind of all feel like, when we’re looking at our wife, we want to look over and say, ‘she’s way too good for me, ain’t she?’ That’s a very lucky thing to get to feel, and that’s how I feel with my wife,” Doleac said. “Ain’t She” released earlier this year. Doleac said in his interview he looks forward to performing it live on his “Wrong Side of A Sunrise,” kicking off this week in Boston, Massachusetts.
