Jana Kramer revealed on the latest episode of her podcast that she recently took a pregnancy test, and, similar to her experience when she discovered she was expecting Baby No. 3, she noticed “a faint, faint line” on the test.
“Guys, so I have an announcement to make,” Kramer addressed cohosts Kathryn Woodward and Kristen Brust, plus special guest, Kramer’s 17-year-old niece Ava. “I took a pregnancy test… so, I was late. ...When I started counting, I was like, ‘oh my God, I’m gonna be pregnant.’
“So then I started to freak out,” Kramer continued, remembering taking the test and noticing “a faint, faint — just like my first test — faint, faint line. …This is how it happened with Roman [Kramer’s Baby No. 3, her first with fiancé Allan Russell]. I had a faint little line, and then I was pregnant. So, I was like, ‘I’m totally pregnant.’”
The country artist, author, actress and Whine Down With Jana Kramer host quickly discovered, however, that she is not pregnant. Kramer highlighted that “this was the breaking news. I was like, ‘I kind of want another (baby).” She said on her podcast that if she were to have another child, she would want it to be when she and Russell discuss it and decide that it’s time. She even envisioned having another little girl when she thought she might be pregnant again. Still, Kramer said she holds back because of her age. She said “if I was younger, I would have another one in a heartbeat. If I was 38, I’d have another one.”
Kramer, 40, welcomed her youngest child, son Roman James Russell, in November 2023. She and her husband-to-be, 43, announced they were expecting a baby together shortly after announcing their engagement. Roman is Kramer’s third child since welcoming daughter Jolie, 8, and son Jace, 5, in her previous marriage. Kramer recently confirmed Jolie is making her acting debut, appearing alongside her mother in an upcoming film.
