Kelsea Ballerini is slated to return to host the 2024 CMT Music Awards, making it her fourth consecutive year.
The Rolling Up The Welcome Mat superstar will take the stage to solo host and perform at the highly-anticipated awards show, she announced with CMT and CBS on Tuesday (February 27). Ballerini previously co-hosted the show with Kane Brown, including at the 2021 and 2023 CMT Music Awards and hosting remotely in 2022. The 2024 CMT Music Awards will take place again at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Nominations, performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks, CBS noted.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be back for my fourth year with my CMT family to host this year’s CMT MUSIC AWARDS in Austin, Texas,” Ballerini said in a statement on Tuesday. “Hosting an awards show that celebrates the music that the fans love most has been an honor and I know this year will be another unforgettable night.”
Officials previously confirmed that the 2024 CMT Music Awards would return to Austin, Texas, taking place on Sunday, April 7, and airing live (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT). Viewers can watch on CBS and stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
