Ryan Hurd celebrated his “powerhouse” wife, fellow singer-songwriter Maren Morris, on her 33rd birthday. Hurd shared a throwback photo of the country power couple on his Instagram story on Tuesday morning (April 11), the morning after Morris’ birthday.
“This picture is from the weekend we got engaged,” Hurd reflected as he shared the heartwarming snapshot of the couple on stage. “We don’t take as many photos together these days but that’s OK. Spent the day in NYC with my powerhouse celebrating her birthday. Love you, MM. Happy birthday.”
Hurd added on a second slide on his Instagram story, sharing Morris’ post in honor of her birthday on Monday evening (April 10), that “things got crazy. We ate a cake. I like getting older with you.”
Morris posted a few black-and-white photos from Manhattan, New York: “3 is my lucky number so this year might be cute. 🕯️🕯️🕯️#33“
Morris and Hurd married in 2018, and have since welcomed their first child, Hayes Andrew Hurd, now 3 years old. They’ve often shared sweet photos and tributes to one another on their social media accounts, including on birthdays, holidays, professional milestones — including their smash-hit duet about an on-again, off-again couple, “Chasing After You,” in addition to their respective solo projects — and more.
