Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman Shares The 'Perfect' Holiday Recipe

Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman is getting in the spirit of the season by sharing a delicious holiday recipe with fans! Kimberly posted the ingredients and preparation needed to perfect bacon wrapped scallops to serve at your holiday parties this year.

"The perfect appetizer for a party or the way to a seafood-lover’s heart: Bacon wrapped scallops! So yum!" she wrote in an Instagram post. The recipe calls for bacon slices, brown sugar, pepper, scallops, and chives, parsley or cayenne to season.

This is what Kimberly had to say about preparing the dish for all to enjoy:

"Preheat broiler with your oven rack 5 inches from heat. Cook bacon in a large skillet until it just begins to brown, then remove from heat and drain on paper towels. Combine brown sugar and pepper and coat 1 side of the bacon with the mixture. Wrap 1 bacon slice around each scallop, placing the sugared side of bacon against the widest side of the scallop and rolling. Secure with toothpick. Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and place a wire rack in the pan. Place scallops on the rack. Broil for 2 minutes then turn scallops to broil for 2 more minutes, or until bacon is cooked and scallops are plump. Garnish and serve!"
