Jon Pardi took a walk in a pair of bell bottoms in a hilarious video he shared on Instagram on Wednesday (November 2). The “Mr. Saturday Night” hitmaker couldn’t resist trying on a pair of bell bottom pants after one of his summer tour mates released an entire album named after her signature style.
“Popped on a pair of [Lainey Wilson]’s bell bottoms after listening to her new album [Bell Bottom Country],” Pardi wrote in the caption. He says in the clip, which was set to Wilson’s “Heart Like A Truck”: “Ever since I saw Lainey’s bell bottoms, I knew I had to get me some. I like the way they blow in the wind. They’re real good around the ranch for checking fences, fixing fences, driving tractors, opening gates, feeding cows…”
Pardi’s post quickly garnered tons of comments, including from his wife, Summer Pardi, and his other tour mate on the “Ain’t Always A Cowboy Tour,” Hailey Whitters.
Wilson released her 14-track album, Bell Bottom Country, on October 28, and announced the dates of her first-ever headlining tour the same day. She reflected when she released her highly-anticipated sophomore album that “this past year has been such a roller coaster – it’s truly been one of the most rewarding and challenging of my career. We’ve worked so hard on this album and I’m so proud of it. I can’t wait to headline my first tour next year and play all my new music across the country.”
