Lainey Wilson is gearing up for the premiere of the next season of Yellowstone, as she joins the all-star cast in season 5. The “Watermelon Moonshine” singer retweeted the smash-hit show’s new trailer, writing that she’s “most definitely READY” for the season premiere.
“Did you catch the [Yellowstone} tease during the [VMAs]? Who’s ready for season 5?! Don’t miss the two-hour premiere event Nov. 13, only on [Paramount Network],” a tweet from the show reads. The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards was hosted at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Sunday evening (August 28). The star-studded event — hosted by Nicki Minaj, LL Cool J and Jack Harlow — included performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and more. Genre-bending country star Kane Brown made history during his performance, becoming the first male country artist to perform during the awards show.
Wilson was announced as a. New Yellowstone cast member earlier this year. The hit series premiered in 2018, created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly, following “a ranching family in Montana (as they face) off against others encroaching on their land.” See the new 15-second teaser here:
