Brett Eldredge seeks to erase memories of an old flame in his new music video for the title track of his latest album, Songs About You. Eldredge has memories of his ex popping up everywhere, and ultimately, calls the number on a business card reading,”memory spot delete procedure,” with the tagline, “we all deserve a blissful life.” The video, which premiered Friday (July 15), shows Eldredge deleting the “files” of the memories as he tries to get through the “Songs About You:”

“'Cause sometimes they make me dance/ Sometimes they make me cry/ Sometimes they make me wish that I had never said goodbyе/ Now I'm just tryna get through/ These songs about you”

Eldredge debuted Songs About You last month, capping off months of high anticipation from eager fans. The hit-making country artist shared, when he released the album, that he was “so grateful for my journey here.” He previously explained on The Bobby Bones Show that the 12-track project is one that doubled down on the big-band sounds that he created on Sunday Drive, his album that released in 2020 (and that “really changed my life in a lot of ways…”).

“All the tough times, all the craziness, all the highs, all the lows, and I feel like in a lot of ways this record is the first time I’ve heard my full self, and I think when you hear it you’ll see what I’m talking about. It’s something really special, and I’ve poured a lot into it,” Eldredge said on his Instagram story at the time. “I promise you, the whole experience is gonna be very worth it. I think you’re gonna find a part of yourself in this music and I can’t wait to hear what you think about it.”
