Luke Bryan is gearing up for Fourth of July festivities with his family, and the “That’s My Kind of Night” singer proves that he knows how to throw a party. For the high-energy performer, July 4 is all about spending time outdoors with his wife, sons and other family members:

“My plans for the Fourth are always to be on the boat somewhere in the water, and buy a few fireworks, send ‘em up in the sky for the boys, but it’s always a boat and water, whether it’s in the Gulf of Mexico, whether it’s in Georgia…we don’t have a total plan yet, but we’ll be having a good time on the fourth.”

Bryan has been celebrating the Fourth of July with outdoor activities throughout his life (last year, he let out an enthusiastic cheer when he caught an 11.6-pound bass while fishing). The Georgia native previously recalled in another statement shared by his record label: “Some of my favorite Fourth of July memories were spent on Lake Blackshear down in Georgia with my family. I was always kind of in charge of driving home from Tennessee and picking up all the fireworks and my nieces and nephews always got excited when I rolled in because they knew I had all the fireworks. But, it was always a great memory, and I miss not getting to do that as much as we used to.”
