Nicole Combs fielded a series of questions on social media when she prompted her Instagram followers to “ask me anything,” and many of the questions were about her pregnancy and the baby. Nicole and her husband, award-winning country music icon Luke Combs, are expecting their first child this spring.
When asked whether Baby Combs would be named after anyone, Nicole replied: “most likely!”
Nicole also shared that there’s a theme for the nursery (she “can’t wait to show you the finished product!”), her favorite pregnancy cravings (“fruits & sweets,” though she normally doesn’t like sweets, “so it’s like I’ve discovered a whole new world lol”), and how she plans to cope with the world she’s going to bring her son into: “He’s going to be spending a lot more time outside than in front of a TV I can promise you that,” she responded. “I’m pretty comfortable because I know my son will have good role models in his life. I can't control the world, but I can make sure he grows up in a good environment.”
The mother-to-be also reflected on her pregnancy symptoms during the first trimester, shared her normal workout routine when she’s not pregnant, and said that although she describes herself as “extremely protective,” the world's opinions “haven't really affected me,” throughout her pregnancy. Now, Nicole is ready to meet her son: “I’m SO unbelievably thankful to be pregnant, you have no idea… but I’m more than ready for him to be here.”
Combs and Nicole announced in January that they were expecting their first child. Combs wrote: “Here we go y’all! Lil dude Combs is coming this Spring! Couldn’t be more excited to start a family with this babe. It’s gonna be a hell of a ride,” and Nicole added: “we are so incredibly excited & thankful.” Nicole also posted a few photos of her growing baby bump, and Instagram users hailed her “STUNNING” as she gets ready to welcome “lil dude Combs.”
