Maren Morris had a bit of time on her hands before taking the stage at the 2022 iHeartCountry Festival in Austin, Texas. So, she took to her social media channels to give fans a glimpse of her cozy tour bus.
The “Circles Around This Town” singer shared the tour on her Instagram story on the day of the festival on Saturday (May 7), and posted it on TikTok on Monday (May 9). Morris opens the video: “Actually, I’m bored and I have time, so — I’ve mentioned this bus a lot in interviews because I’ve built it out to bring Hayes out, so — should I y’all a tour of the bus?”
Morris slowly walks around the tour bus, giving fans a look at her life on the road. She starts with the front lounge and breakfast area, her kitchen, a cozy fake fireplace and other homey features. It generally stays dark “because I’m into mood lighting,” she said. Morris highlights other favorite features, including the wallpaper in the front bathroom and Hayes’ crib. “He loves the bus so far, and I feel like it naturally puts him to sleep,” Morris said of her 2-year-old son, who has a collection of toys and books on the bus. The country artist’s own bed is also “very comfy even on bumpy roads.”
Morris even shared a glimpse of the dazzling outfit she would wear during her iHeartCountry Festival performance that evening, which included fan-favorites “I Could Use A Love Song,” “My Church,” “The Bones” and others. Now, Morris is gearing up for her “Humble Quest Tour,” kicking off next month and named after her latest album. See what her life is like on the road here:
