Luke Combs will finally release a song he teased on his social media channels last month. The country hitmaker will debut “Tomorrow Me” on Friday (April 22), and he shared a snippet of the track when he made his announcement on Tuesday morning (April 19). Combs predicts that his future self won’t be happy as he sings:
“Telephone rings, can I come over/ It’s kinda just the way things go since we’ve been over/ I know what you want, and I want it, too/ The problem is what’s wrong with it’s the bigger issue
“Tomorrow me ain’t gonna like the way things go tonight/ If I let you in and think that it’ll be different this time/ So maybe we should let yesterday be/ ‘Cause I gotta live with tomorrow me”
Combs, 32, is gearing up for an eventful year as he and his wife, Nicole, prepare to welcome their first child. The parents-to-be announced earlier this year that “lil dude Combs” is expected to make his arrival this spring. Then, the reigning iHeartRadio Country Artist of the Year will release his highly-anticipated new album on June 24.
