Kelsea Ballerini Posts The 1st Snippet Of 'HEARTFIRST' & The Vibes Are Real

Kelsea Ballerini shared the first snippet of “HEARTFIRST,” and fans are loving the vibes already as they await Ballerini’s soon-to-release new era. The “half of my hometown” artist finally revealed last week that “HEARTFIRST” is set to debut on Friday (April 8), and “for those wondering, it is a bop.”

Ballerini posted a quick teaser on her social media channels on Wednesday (April 6), reminding everyone that her new single is set to release “tomorrow (at) midnight.” Commenters gushed over the new song, writing: “okay i’m feeling like 90s country windows rolled down with a diet coke,” “Very much sounding like a sweet tea moment. 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️,” and “It’s giving We We’re Like vibes!💙,” to name a few.

Ballerini wrote the new song with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Alysa Vanderheym. It was produced by Julian Bunetta and Shane McAnally. The announcement comes shortly after Ballerini shared a mysterious post that had fans predicting a “new era” was on the way. She’s been teasing something new for a while, including when she captioned a photo in a stunning pantsuit that happened to include her dog’s paw in the shot (“dibs paw symbolizes the proximity of new music and the suit symbolizes that i still wanna be serena vanderwoodsen happy tuesday 🤍”), and another hint when she said she was “all song’d out,” after casually confirming in a TikTok that she “just got home from a trip where I finished writing my next album.”
