Morgan Wallen is officially a 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards winner. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer earned the Country Album of the Year award after releasing Dangerous: The Double Album last year. The massive collection includes “Sand In My Boots,” “7 Summers,” “More Than My Hometown” and other fan-favorite tracks.

Wallen’s latest award comes at the heels of a three-night series of concerts at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Wallen — who also released a cross-genre collaboration with Lil Durk earlier this year — packed his 26-song setlist with some of his biggest hits, and introduced several surprise guests during the star-studded shows, including Larry Fleet, Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Jimmie Allen and more. Amid the Bridgestone concerts, Wallen hosted an exclusive performance for eight fans on Saturday night (March 19). Days later, he shared a new post on Instagram admitting that his exhaustion was intimidating, but “these fans were so cool and appreciative. They brought an energy into that room that made me dig a little deeper than I knew I could. I didn’t sing the best I ever had nor did I play the best I ever had. But not only did I end up enjoying it, it ended up being a musical experience I’ll never forget. Had a lot of those this last week. So thank you to the 8 people from last night. I know you represent countless others. Extremely thankful for the connection we have thru this music.”

LL Cool J is set to host the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which will include an highly-anticipated performance by Jennifer Lopez and other iconic artists across all genres. Award categories include the first-ever TikTok Songwriter of the Year and Best Comeback Album, Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song, Best Music Video, the Social Star Award, Favorite Tour Photographer, and TikTok Bop of the Year. Keep track of winners throughout the evening here.
