Luke Bryan delivered one of the most sentimental moments of the night during the Academy of Country Music Awards on Monday night (March 7). The country giant took the stage with a performance of “Up,” one of his latest singles that takes a nostalgic look at the best highlights of life.
“I could not be prouder, not only of the message of this song, but also how this video turned out. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I have,” Bryan previously said as he debuted the music video earlier this year. “Up” Is one of the fan-favorite tracks from Bryan’s deluxe edition of Born Here Live Here Die Here, Bryan’s seventh studio album.
It’s one of many hit songs Bryan has released throughout his career, so it’s no wonder he recently kicked off his highly-anticipated Las Vegas Residency. Among the highly-anticipated moments, fans couldn’t get enough of Bryan’s mother, LeClaire’s appearance. “The eagle has landed in Vegas,” he captioned a recent Instagram photo, as fans gushed over LeClaire in the comments. Speaking with Good Morning America the week before kicking off his residency, Bryan said he fully expects “my credit card will be in flames” when LeClaire indulges in shopping trips. He also promised that, putting on a show in Las Vegas, “the vibe is already really energetic and kind of a party.”
