Shortly after confirming that his next album is on the way, Cole Swindell released his latest single. The romantic track, “I’m Gonna Let Her,” paints a picture of a sweet relationship that grows as the woman takes “the runnin’ right out of these boots,” leaves her earrings by the sink and wants to meet his friends:
“And I’m gonna let her/ To keep on makin’ this life of mine a little better/ Showin’ me all about love right down to the letter/ So if she wants to think I’m thinkin’ ‘bout forever/ I’m gonna let her”
“I am so proud of this album and excited for everyone to hear what we have been working on,” Swindell said in a statement. “I’ve always had a ‘best song wins’ attitude when recording an album and I hope every song we recorded for Stereotype makes you feel something. I can’t wait for the ‘Down to the Bar’ Tour to start and play some of these songs for the fans.”
Swindell announced his fourth studio album earlier this week, confirming that Stereotype is due out April 8. Since making the album announcement, the country artist also revealed the track list. Stereotype will have two collaborations, including Swindell's recent duet with Lainey WIlson that depicts a couple returning to old habits with one another:
- “Stereotype”
- “Every Beer”
- “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson
- “She Had Me at Heads Carolina”
- “Sayin’ You Love Me”
- “I’m Gonna Let Her”
- “Down to the Bar” feat. HARDY
