Adam Doleac and his wife, MacKinnon Doleac, have welcomed Baby No. 1.

The Mississippi-born country singer-songwriter posted a series of photos on Instagram on Monday evening (March 26) to announce that his newborn son, Jack Mackinnon Doleac, had made his arrival. Jack was born on Saturday, March 23, weighing 9 pounds, 6 ounces, according to Doleac’s post. The “Moving Target” artist referenced Switchfoot’s early 2000s lyrics — from “Dare You To Move,” which Doleac covered and released in December 2023 — in his caption.

“Welcome to the planet, Jack Mackinnon Doleac. 3/23/24 9lbs, 6 oz. We already love you more than we even knew we could,” Doleac wrote. “[MacKinnon Doleac] I am in complete awe of you. You are already the best momma to our (not so) little boy. Our lives will never be the same, and there’s nothing more exciting than that 🩵🥹”

Doleac revealed in early December that he and his wife were expecting their first child together. He shared at that time that he and MacKinnon “have talked about this day since the very first night we met.” When they announced the pregnancy, the Doleacs had recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. The “Biggest Fan” star wrote a sweet tribute to his wife, cherishing the “best decision I’ve ever made.”

Earlier this year, Doleac posted the sweet gender reveal on Instagram, referencing his song “Ain’t She” in the caption: “Is it gonna be ‘Ain’t SHE’ or ‘Ain’t HE’?!?!” The parents-to-be also shared a video from the gender reveal party, where blue confetti confirmed the Doleacs were expecting a baby boy.

Doleac previously postponed some of his headlining “Wrong Side of a Sunrise Tour” dates to be home with his wife for Baby No. 1’s birth. Doleac is now set to kick off his tour on April 25 in Boston, Massachusetts, per the announcement last month. The tour — which includes special guests Greylan James and Troy Cartwright — follows Doleac’s performances in star-studded lineups on tours with Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, Zac Brown Band, Kane Brown and others.

“I’ve kind of had my ‘selfish years,’ I like to call them. Life has been about me for long enough, is what I always tell my wife,” Doleac told iHeartCountry in an interview earlier this year. “You know, with this artist career, everything kind of revolves around you, and I’m excited to have a new center to that with our baby on the way. I’ve never had a child, but I imagine it’s probably the apex of love you can feel in life. So, I’m really excited to feel that and all the things that come with it. Even if the next time we talk I may be a little sleep deprived,” he said with a laugh, “we’ll see, but I’m really excited. One of my favorite qualities about MacKinnon is how good of a mom she’s gonna be, too. So, I’m excited to see her turn into that. I’ve been telling dad jokes for years, so I’ve been preparing myself. I’ve always wanted to be a dad, so I’m really excited.”
