Chase Rice is set to kick off a nationwide tour at the heels of his album release in 2023. The “Way Down Yonder Tour,” named after one of Rice’s previously-released tracks on his forthcoming project, kicks off in March in Laughlin, Nevada.

Before the start of his headlining tour, presented by Coors Banquet, Rice will drop his long-awaited studio album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell. The 13-track project — which includes “Way Down Yonder,” “Key West & Colorado” and more — will honor Rice’s late father, Daniel Rice, who died in 2008. Rice previously told iHeartRadio that his upcoming album is “much more vulnerable than any other music I’ve made,” and he’s proud of it.

“I focused on ‘What can I put out that makes me come to life?’,” Rice recently told PopCulture of his new music that he’ll play on tour. “Because if I come to life when I’m on the stage and up there singing songs that I’m passionate about and love, man, people are gonna love them that much more… I’m at the place in my life now where I just want people to know who I really am as opposed to who they think I am. I think this record’s a good start.”

Rice is bringing several artists as special guests on select dates, including Avery AnnaTyler BradenAshland CraftDalton DoverKameron MarloweRead Southall Band and Conner Smith. Tickets are set to go on sale to the general public on Thursday (December 15) at 10 a.m. local time. See Rice’s 2023 tour dates below:
