Jake Owen premiered a sentimental music video to bring one of his latest songs to life on Wednesday (July 20). “1x1,” which released earlier this year, is a sweet track by songwriters Luke Laird, Josh Miller and “the queen” Hillary Lindsey:
“There's a five by seven of us up on the wall/ And that smile on your face, yeah, it says it all/ There's a four by four sittin' out in the drive/ Rides a whole lot better with your hand in mine/ And this house ain't just some two by fours/ It's you by me on the back porch/ Watchin' the sun, woah oh/ Holdin' on tight, takin' these days and nights/ One by one”
Owen thanked the songwriters when he debuted “1x1,” and continued in a heartfelt Instagram caption, writing: “thank YOU to every songwriter in Nashville that has ever given me a chance to sing your words, and be a messenger of your brilliance. I’m just a guy that loves country music with all my heart and I am forever grateful to be able to be a part of this community.”
