Lauren Alaina shared a video of the moment she laughed off a wardrobe mishap.
“This can’t be real,” said fellow singer-songwriter and Alaina’s “All My Exes” duet partner Chase Matthew. Alaina laughed as she realized, “I have two different shoes on. …You said ‘whatever you do, don’t forget to put the other shoe on.’” Matthew tried to assure her, “I think it’s cool.”
Alaina explained through her laughter, “I was trying to decide between the two boots, and I forgot [to choose one].” Commenters laughed at Alaina’s reaction to her mismatched footwear, and said she’s starting a new fashion trend, “mom brain for the win,” and “this is why we love you.” Matthew commented that the moment was “insane,” and added a laughing emoji.
“She’s full-blown mom today,” Matthew said in the video. Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold, celebrated 6 months with their firstborn baby, daughter Beni Doll Arnold, on Thursday (December 11). The “Those Kind Of Women” artist said when she welcomed Baby No. 1 in June, “I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter.” Watch Alaina react to her mismatched footwear here:
