Amy and her kids will sometimes get takeout, especially when they're busy with lots of activities.
Recently, Amy was picking up her daughter from therapy and they were out by her daughter's favorite restaurant for takeout. So they put an order in, and picked up some food to go. They got all the way home with the food, and were excited to eat when one of them found something in their food. Amy's daughter Stachira found what she thought was one of Amy's hairs in the food, but when Amy checked it was a hair that was definitely baked into the dish.
They were all bummed after the discovery and opted to eat popcorn instead. Amy didn't call the restaurant to tell them or even ask for a refund, but Stachira thinks they should have. She thinks at the very least, maybe it will encourage them to be wearing hair nets. Amy also added that it was a very "hippy dippy type place," and Stachira was even questioning if the people who work there shower very often.
There are no plans for them to go back to said restaurant, but it certainly caused a debated on the show on what people would do if they were in Amy's position.
