Watch Dan + Shay Surprise A Bride: 'Crashed Another Wedding!'

Dan + Shay revealed they “crashed another wedding!”

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney shared a behind-the-scenes look at their latest wedding-crashing experience on Instagram on Tuesday evening (June 23). The award-winning duo agreed to make an appearance when the groom, Grant, sent them a message on Instagram. Smyers explained that Grant said he and his wife, Gracie, are big fans, and planned to dance to the duo’s “From the Ground Up” for their first dance. Dan + Shay’s appearance was a surprise to the bride. Smyers said, “Grant is winning the husband of the year on day one.”

Dan + Shay delivered a heartfelt live performance of their romantic 2016 ballad as Grant and Gracie danced for the first time as husband and wife. Grant wrote in the comments on Instagram, “thanks so much for surprising Gracie! Forever thankful! Y’all are the best!” Dan + Shay replied, congratulating the newlyweds and thanking them “for letting us be a part of your big day!”

“Beautiful wedding,” Mooney said at the end of the clip. “Successful crash. We did it.”

This is the latest wedding-crashing experience for Dan + Shay. Earlier this month, the duo surprised a couple at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, outside of Nashville. Smyers explained at the time, “we had this idea. We’ve got a song called ‘Marry You Again,’ and we one day went rogue. And we’re like, ‘is anybody getting married in Nashville the next few weeks?’”

Dan + Shay went “rogue” as they get ready to release their next romantic single, “Marry You Again.” It’s the latest track that will appear on Young, Dan + Shay’s upcoming 10-track album that also includes the title track and “Say So.” Smyers and Mooney previously shared that this “is by far our most personal album yet, and gives a real-time snapshot of exactly where we are in our lives,” Dan + Shay shared as they announced the record. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your patience and support while we made YOUNG. We’ve never been more proud of a batch of songs, and hope they mean as much to you as they do to us.”

“Marry You Again” will release on Friday (June 26). Young will arrive on August 21.
