Ella Langley can't compete with Texas love.

The New Artist of the Year nominee also took the stage at the 2025 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday (November 19) to perform her song "Choosin' Texas." The track, which dropped last month, tells the story of how she "wasn't a match for [the] kind of spark" her beau had with a mystery woman who she knows is from the Lone Star State "by the way he's two-stepping 'round the room."

Backed up by a large star reminiscent of Texas' signature five-point symbol, Langley performed the heartbreak track accompanied on her acoustic guitar as a couple danced around the stage.

Langley was also a big winner during the night, earning six nominations overall and taking home awards like Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for "you look like you love me," her duet with Riley Green.
