Reba McEntire will make her hosting debut at this year’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center special, and take the stage alongside a star-studded lineup of performers spanning genres of music.
Marc Anthony, Halle Bailey, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth, Laufey, New Edition, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, the Radio City Rockettes and Gwen Stefani will deliver festive performances during the annual holiday tradition, NBC announced in a press release issued on Friday (November 14). The release also states that TODAY anchors Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin and Al Roker are set to make special appearances at the annual tree lighting in New York City.
McEntire — a beloved country star, coach on The Voice and star of the NBC sitcom, Happy’s Place — confirmed last month that she’s hosting the two-hour Christmas in Rockefeller Center special for her first time. Jen Neal, Executive Vice President of Live Events and Specials at NBCUniversal Entertainment said in a statement on Friday that “we’re so looking forward to seeing Reba bring her infectious energy to the telecast and create an unforgettable holiday moment.”
Viewers can watch McEntire host the Christmas in Rockefeller Center special live on Wednesday, December 3 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
