Brad Paisley wanted an 8-foot dragon to celebrate his 53rd birthday on Tuesday (October 28), his wife revealed.
Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who turned 54 last month, shared on Instagram that she’d asked for a cold plunge for her birthday. Her husband, on the other hand, wanted the animatronic dragon on display with Halloween decorations. The 9-1-1: Nashville star wrote in her caption: “Happy birthday to the guy who somehow made the [Los Angeles Dodgers] play 18 innings last night! Love you [Brad Paisley]. The dragon is waiting for you back home. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙”
Paisley performed the National Anthem at Game 3 of the 2025 World Series on Monday (October 27). The country star has previously delivered renditions of the Anthem ahead of World Series games, and each one has gone into extra innings. In 2017, World Series Game 2 ran for 11 innings. World Series Game 3 lasted 18 innings in 2018. Last year’s World Series Game 1 ended after 10 innings, and Monday night’s game stretched to 18 innings, according to the MLB.
Paisley is known for “She’s Everything,” “Mud on the Tires,” “I’m Gonna Miss Her” and more throughout his decades-long career. Find Paisley’s music — including his Top 10 hits — on iHeartRadio here.
