Zac Brown is set to join The Voice this week as a mega mentor to the contestants as they move ahead to the Knockout rounds.

The Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band frontman will mentor contestants on coaches Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg teams. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Joe Walsh will mentor artists on Teams Niall Horan and Reba McEntire, per NBC’s announcement on Friday (October 24). Brown said on Friday that he’s “honored to be a Mega Mentor,” on the show. “Music changed my life and now I get to help light that spark for someone else.”

“I really love the wisdom that they were sharing with everybody because most of it resonated perfectly with me and what I felt and what I was thinking,” Brown told PEOPLE while speaking about his time with Team Bublé and Team Snoop on The Voice. He added later, “it was an inspiring day. I got to hear some amazing talent and got to work with some incredible artists.”

Eight artists from each team will enter the Knockout rounds, and “the competition is intense,” NBC states. This time, coaches cannot save or steal artists. After the Knockouts, coaches select a winner from their team to advance to the Playoffs (followed by the live performances). Knockouts will begin on Monday (October 27). The Voice airs on NBC and is available the following day on Peacock.
