Lainey Wilson is returning to host the 59th CMA Awards in November, the Country Music Association confirmed on Tuesday morning (September 30). This will mark the Whirlwind hitmaker’s second consecutive year hosting Country Music’s Biggest Night.

“I grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,” Wilson, who joined hosting duo Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning to make her debut in 2024, said in a statement. “I’m humbled that CMA has trusted me with this role, and I can’t wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.”

Wilson is among the top nominees at the 59th annual show, including in the coveted Entertainer of the Year category and other prestigious nods. Other artists who received some of the most nominations include Megan Moroney, Ella Langley, Zach Top, Riley Green, Cody Johnson and more. Find the full list of CMA Award nominees here.

The Country Music Association noted in a press release Tuesday morning that over 7,000 professional voting members of the association, representing every sector of the country music industry, determine award nominees and winners. “This peer-voted recognition holds unique significance, celebrating the creativity and dedication of those whose contributions continue to shape the genre and inspire fans around the world,” the release states.

Additional information, including performers and presenters, will be announced at a later date.

The Country Music Association announced this spring that the 59th CMA Awards will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on November 19. The show will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
