Reba McEntire turned her chair for a rising country singer during her blind audition on The Voice — only to find she’d been blocked.

McEntire, Snoop Dogg, returned to The Voice in the show’s 28th season, which premiered on Monday evening (September 22). Niall Horan and Michael Bublé. the legendary country star threatened to “take all of your Skittles,” when she discovers Snoop blocked her from adding Mindy Miller to Team Reba. “No more Skittles for you!”

Miller — who said she’s from Damascus, Maryland, but lives in Nashville, Tennessee — auditioned with “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” Lainey Wilson released the Western-inspired anthem on her Grammy-winning Bell Bottom Country record in 2022.

“Well, I think you’re fantastic,” McEntire told Miller. “Congratulations for being here.”

“I love to encourage,” McEntire said of her experience as a coach on The Voice in an interview with iHeartCountry earlier this year. “I can’t tell anybody, ‘Don’t do this. Go get a job. You’re not suited for this.’ But the way that we get to do the – I don’t say critique – advice, it’s helpful advice. It’s not tear-down. We want to lift up. We want to inspire. We want to encourage, not tear down. They get enough of that out there in the world.”
