RaeLynn tipped her hat to country legends Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and George Jones as she wholeheartedly embraced the genre. The Texas-born artist kicked off a new era in her career (wearing knee-high boots, of course, paired with a Shania Twain-worthy, leopard-inspired look) with her new single on Friday (August 15).
RaeLynn, born Racheal Lynn Woodward, teams up with songwriters Aaron Gillespie and Lauren Hungate to write “Long Live Country Music.” She previously shared that “this song was the beginning of this era and I am so beyond PROUD OF IT!!!”
“Long Live Country Music” is the former The Voice contestant’s latest song to release since “Heave Is A Honky Tonk” earlier this year. RaeLynn officially released her latest single after playing it during recent live shows, including on Jason Aldean’s headlining “Full Throttle Tour.” See the remaining dates below and find RaeLynn's music — including “Long Live Country Music” — on iHeartRadio here.
