Luke Combs Posts Behind-The-Scenes Photos After Teasing 'Easter Egg'

Luke Combs posted behind-the-scenes photos from the recording studio and stirred anticipation among social media commenters for new music.

The award-winning country star simply captioned the series of Instagram photos, “Back in the Saddle.” Combs has not confirmed details — including a release date — for new music as of publication time on Monday (June 23); however, he recently confirmed that he’s “back in the studio” and planning a headlining tour in 2026.

“I’m getting back in the saddle here. Back in the studio. I’m very excited about that,” Combs said, in part, at that time. “Got some awesome festivals coming up this year. ... just stuff we’ve never done, stuff I’m excited about. And got a big tour coming next year. I just kind of finalized a lot of the details on that here in the last week or so. So, new record coming up soon, new tour coming up, (I’m) just excited, man. I’m excited.”

Combs, who became the first country artist to headline Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival earlier this month, added in his caption that he “will be doing a headline tour next year and I am actively working on new music.” He also hinted that there “may or may not be an Easter egg regarding new music in this video that will one day make sense.”
