Lauren Alaina said “there’s no feeling like watching my husband become a father.”
The country star shared a sweet glimpse of her husband, Cam Arnold, embracing dad life after the couple welcomed their firstborn child. Baby No. 1, daughter Beni Doll Arnold, was born on June 11. Alaina announced her daughter’s arrival and released a surprise ballad, “Heaven Sent,” on the same day. She set the clip of her husband with Beni Doll to “Heaven Sent,” and wrote in her caption: “She’s so lucky to have him as her daddy. I just know she’s going to have him wrapped around her finger for life 🥹”
“Our whole world, our little baby girl,” Alaina added in a post when she marked a full week with her baby girl. “One week of you and we already can’t imagine life before. I’ve heard people say it goes by so fast and I promise to cherish every minute. We love you so much Beni Doll 🥹”
Alaina made her surprise pregnancy announcement when she premiered her “Those Kind Of Women” music video earlier this year. She and Arnold quickly followed the pregnancy announcement with a gender reveal, and they’ve shared maternity photos and other sweet moments along the way.
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time,” Alaina wrote in her caption as she shared the precious first photos of her daughter on Instagram when she announced last week that her daughter was born. “I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter.”
Alaina wrote in a Father’s Day tribute to her husband, whom she married in February 2024, that she’s “always said one of my things that made you the one for me was that I knew you were going to be the best dad ever. I had no idea. Watching you see (crying picture 😭), meet, hold, change, swaddle and love our daughter has transformed my heart and deepened my love for you in a way that I didn’t even know was even possible. Beni is the luckiest little girl in the world. I am the luckiest mom. We love you so much. Thank you for being ours. 🥹💗”
