Taylor Swift catapulted herself to an unequaled career since her powerful debut in the 2000s.
Swift, 35, has more than proved her ability to transcend genres as she captivated audiences around the world over the course of her nearly 20-year career. That includes her electrifying âEras Tour,â which kicked off in March 2023 and continued through early December 2024. During that time, Swift played a total of 149 shows spanning five continents as she honored each era of her career so far. Now, longtime Swifties are getting ready for the multi-Grammy winner's highly-anticipated 12th studio record, The Life of a Showgirl, releasing on Friday (October 3).
Swiftâs self-titled debut album introduced her to the world as a 16-year-old country artist. Some of Swiftâs following records continued the trailblazerâs career in the genre â and some of her music still nodded to country elements â as she broadened her career in the music industry.
