Rising country singer-songwriter Gavin Adock was arrested on Wednesday night (May 21) in Middle Tennessee.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officers arrested Adcock, 26, at 11:15 p.m. in Wilson County, which borders Davison County, where Nashville is located. Adcock is accused of reckless driving and a violation of open container laws, information from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office shows. The singer-songwriter was released early Thursday morning (May 22), at 4:34 a.m. He has not publicly commented on the incident. No additional information was available as of publication time.
The Georgia-born country artist started writing music in high school. He recorded and released his first original song after a knee injury sidelined the former football player in 2021, per his bio. Adcock has since released “On One,” “Need To,” “Run Your Mouth,” “A Cigarette,” “Four Leaf Clover” and more. This year, his tour dates include major festivals (including CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee) and shows with headliner Morgan Wallen on his 2025 “I'm The Problem Tour,” among others.
