Trisha Yearwood debuted two new tracks from her upcoming album, The Mirror, on Friday (May 2).

Yearwood, who received the Academy of Country Music’s Icon Award at the ACM Honors last year in Nashville, Tennessee, released “The Wall Or The Way Over,” and “Bringing The Angels” one day after she announced long-awaited details about her new record. The Mirror is Yearwood’s “first fully co-written and co-produced album,” she said. “This is a new chapter for me and one I cannot wait to share with you… I am so proud of this record and hope you love it as much as I loved creating it.”

Yearwood added as she released two new songs on Friday that she “can’t wait for you to hear the rest.”

The Georgia-born country star previously performed her newest songs for live audiences months ahead of their official debut. Yearwood performed “The Wall Or The Way Over” at the Bluebird Cafe, a historic, intimate venue in Nashville that has hosted performances by some of the genre’s most-respected, legendary songwriters and artists over the decades. Yearwood’s performance aired when she was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She delivered a powerful performance of “Bringing The Angels” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Yearwood co-wrote The Mirror with singer-songwriters Erin Enderlin and Sunny Sweeney. They’re joining Yearwood on her spring headlining tour, which kicked off earlier this week in Austin, Texas. Yearwood said when she announced the lineup that Enderlin and Sweeney “are two of my co-writing pals on this new album. I can’t wait for you to hear these amazingly talented women as they take the stage on my spring tour. You’re in for a treat!” See the dates here.

The Mirror is due to release on July 18. Listen to “The Wall Or The Way Over,” and “Bringing The Angels” below.
