Gabby Barrett shared a sweet throwback clip with her husband, fellow artist Cade Foehner, as she took part in a TikTok trend on Tuesday evening (April 22).
Barrett, 25, offered a glimpse of herself with now-husband Foehner, 28, in 2018, the year they met while competing on American Idol. Barrett embraced the couple’s growth and the future they had together as she wrote over the clip on TikTok: “She doesn’t know it yet but she’s going to marry & have 3 beautiful children with this man.”
The “I Hope” powerhouse married Foehner in October 2019 in Garrison, Texas. Barrett told PEOPLE at the time that she and her husband “wanted a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family.” They got married in a stunning ceremony that included 100 guests. Since then, the two former American Idol contestants welcomed three children together, daughter Baylah May, 4, son Augustine Boone, 2, and daughter Ivy Josephine, 1. Barrett recently introduced a new member of the family (a dog), and shared some of the baby names she “loved,” but ended up not using when she and Foehner welcomed their three children.
The country star has been raising her family while continuing her career in music. Last year, Barrett released two albums — her highly-anticipated sophomore record, Chapter & Verse, and her first-ever Christmas album, Carols and Candlelight — and she’s been hinting at what’s next. Barrett previously hinted that an upcoming song “is giving ‘I Hope’ vibes.” She recently confirmed her soon-to-debut single is “gonna be a collab,” and “we are pushing to get things out as quickly as possible.”
